Oktoberfest is the world’s largest beer celebration and what better way to celebrate it than in East Village at Quartyard.

This year’s layout boasts four city blocks including Market Street and over 60,000 square feet of event space! You and your friends will enjoy steins of local craft beer on Market Street from Park Avenue to 14th Street. This is the first time that Quartyard has ever closed this much public street.
#2 Stein Holding Contest presented U.S. Bank
Hope you’ve been lifting those weights because our Stein Holding Contest is just around the corner!
There will be two crowned champs.
What’s a Stein Holding Contest? It’s pretty simple, you hold a stein out with one arm and the timer starts. The last person with their arm held out wins! There are some rules to abide by and judges will be watching and calling the match!
#3 Música
We are excited to welcome the Oom-Pah-Sters to perform traditional Oktoberfest music. Daniel Gerztyn of SD Hosted will be hosting along this stage. The second stage will feature DJ Kid Wonder and Boogie Blanco jammin’ a mix of latin and party favorites. Expect a few surprises along the way!

#4 Bier, Bier, Bier, and Bier
Although the germans did not invent beer, it was at one point considered to be better than water for its nutritional benefits. And as an appreciation for German culture as well as our fine city’s rich bier culture, we are featuring local breweries including Ketch Brewing, Karl Strauss, Alesmith, Knotty Barrel, Fall Street, Duck Foot Brewing, Harland, and Three Punks Ales.
#5 Don’t get hangry
This year, we are offering some signature eats to keep you feeling full and satisfied, including our neighbors TNT Pizza and Papalo. Quartyard will feature Oktoberfest favorites and for the sweet tooth Hey Sugar will have their signature mason jar cakes that are always a hit.
